Ok so something different today. How often d you guys practice your chosen arts, no MMA v TMA bull on this thread, so if u practice TKD, Karate or any other TMAs please contribute just as much as the BJJ/MT/MMA heads please.

    Ill start

ARTS: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay-Thai

Frequency: Try to get to BJJ twice a week and usually do Thai once or twice. If I have exams then I tend to disappear from all training though :(

I'm gonna try and up it tho to BJJ for 3 to 4 sessions a week and 2-3 sessions of Muay-Thai. Work kills my training a lot getting kept in/low energy levels after etc but the latter is my own fault for never going to bed at a reasonable hour!! :D

    How about you guys?

    Hi Niel, ART- MUAY THAI

I train Twice a day every day lol .........although it is my job :-)

Suppose it depends what you are training for, whether its just to get fit or fight, that will determin how much you train.......well it should lol

I train in Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, and FMA.

I train anywhere between 4-6 times a week, depending on class and hall schedules. Weekends are taken up by seminars pretty frequently at this time of year, so these days I'm mostly training 6 days a week (every day but Wednesday, actually).

Usually (unfortunately) just 1 day a week of FMA, although lately I've been able to make 2 and I'm hoping to keep it that way.

Jiu Jitsu 2-3 days a week, same for Kenpo. We have some freeform classes at our club where you can just come and train whatever you like (obviously, provided you've got someone else who wants to do likewise), so how many times a week I train Jiu Jitsu or Kenpo tends to depend on which I feel I want to work on when these "free" days happen.

Just combatives these days - no longer do any Kenpo, or other trad Martial Arts.

Would also like to get back to Thai or Boxing at some stage.

Try to train everyday for at least 30 mins - no training on Saturdays though. :)

    Karate

    Dojo classes: Tues, Thurs, Fri.

Mon + Wed: Up to me. At the moment I'm doing mostly running and weights.
Sometimes I use these nights to try out other arts/ do some extra training with a buddy from karate which could be sparring, grappling, conditioning, bag work, whatever.

Try to do one weekend day unless I'm away. Squad trainings and competitions take place on a sunday so sometimes my weekends are decided for me.
