Danny Webb has been running El Diablo's Social Club in his hometown of Manchester for the last 4 years, bringing great DJ's like DTS favourites Maurice Fulton, Rub'n'Tug and Todd Terje to the rainy city, as well as running spectacular one-offs in brothels, abandoned warehouses and other houses of ill repute!
Danny also helps run the show in Manchester's renowned Piccadilly Records, so undoubtedly has access to the most upfront dancefloor tunes the modern music world has to offer. He's played at The Electric Chair, the legendary Mancunian monthly hoe-down famed for it's eclectic music policy and unmatched atmosphere, as well as other Northern institutions like Leeds' Back To Basics.Having rocked both Kennedy's and Ri-Ra for us in the last 12 months, we wanted to get the man himself back for a long extended set this time. You can expect to see him on the decks from about midnight, with nuthin' but the best in balaeric grooves, cosmic disco, house and techno on the agenda.....

Downtownsounds is incredibly honoured to see our name on the same bill as the living bassline himself, Bootsy Collins. We'll be supporting him when he rolls into Tripod next Friday July 4th. Bootsy is of course the man who played the bassline on James Brown's 'Sex Machine' before decamping to join Goerge Clinton's Parliament/Funkadelic mob and launch the funk into the further reaches of outer space.... In tow with him are many of that famed JB's rhythm section and he'll be playing material from his 40 years of funkin' around....What a night this will be. And we have two pairs of tickets to give away too!
