    Define good.

    It all depends on what you want to do. Most people will say Celeron are rubbish - but are they rubbish if all you want to do is surf the web? Most certainly not.

    thanks for the reply Tom. good as in fast and and able to cope with multiple applications at once. i presumed cel meant celeron but i have no idea on the others. which ones would be closest to core 2 duo standard

    kirin - AMD Turion 64 X2
    icr2 - Intel Core2Duo
    dcp - Intel Pentium Dual Core
    cel - Intel Celeron

    Core2Duo would be the way to go.
