Im trying to get a copy of the leinster football final from last year but I cant seem to get it, does anyone have a copy that I ccould take a copy of or know where I could get it. Its a present for a big birthday!?

Thats funny that you mention matches. Now, I know that the chances of getting this match are slim - but do you or does anyone know where I get a hold of a really old match..the 1965 All Ireland Football Final (Galway v Kerry)...?? Any ideas?

Now ye're talkin'! That would be more difficult to get I'd imagine, maybe email RTE and ask them.

I tried RTE and they were no help! I'll keep the search up, How would you get that final, was it even on the TV?

Celtic Note on Nassau street sell DVDs of Historic GAA matches. Through them I have managed to get a copy of the 1992/1994/1995 All Ireland Final. Give them a call, they may know

OK, rang RTE and they gave me the name of a production company in Dublin who have released loads of GAA matches on DVD - so I'm gonna give them a buzz...

There is tv coverage of games going way back. RTE would have them archived although they apparently don't sell them.

The 1965 final would definitely have full coverage with Micheal O'Hehir on commentary. TG4 have shown a couple of those Galway 3-in-a-row games on their All-Ireland Gold series, so it would be worth asking them aswell.

As for the Leinster Final 2007, there are alot of Dubs on this forum, possible that one of them has it recorded.

Many sub of the Dubs will let me know if they recorded it from the TV or something??

The Leinster Final from last year is on the Sideline DVD entitled "Sam 07".Its not the full match though,its the highlights.

As for other matches,I am trying to get my hands on a copy of the full match between Dublin and Wexford in 2005.Whats the name of that production company bertolucci?

The All Ireland football and hurling finals from 1965 - 1974 have just been released on DVD.

Extending the catalogue of GAA DVDs to cover the early 1970's and 1960's has proved difficult as the archives of match tape and film from that period is not as extensive or accessible compared to more recent decades. Regrettably, there are some gaps as complete matches do not exist for a number of years in the 1964-1974 era.
Where highlights are available we have used them but unfortunately there are a few years where no worthwhile footage can be discovered.

Just wondering would anyone know where it would be possible to locate a copy of either/both the Clare v Kerry Munster Football Final 1992 and the Clare v Dublin All Ireland Football semi-final 1992?

I have the Leinster Final on DVD I also have the KErry Galway match I think. send me a PM and we will figure a way to share... Torrent, Download or plain old snail mail... not sure what option is best
