Good, breathable clothes for a sweaty humid africa... any recommendations?

Hi A friend of mine is heading to africa (wont say where as he may read this and put 2&2...) in about a month and I want to get him some good quality pants and maybe a top/tshirt. Anyone know some really good kinda technical wear for hot humid & sweaty weather? And if so, where to get it online? thanks

Im not sure about online as I always buy when on the road. I can recommend those sporty type t-shirts with little holes in them to let the air in though. An absolute must in hot and humid weather.
