Mc Donalds closing in Irishtown area, Athlone

I read in one of the local papers about Mc Donalds closing, in order to consolidate their business in the town. They have recently refurbished their Creggan Court branch and the costs incurred there is one of the reasons they are moving out.

    What does everyone else think?

...that the people of Athlone have copped that good, contemporary, home prepped, healthy food is being cooked and served by Irish owned companies in Athlone.

Good on you Athlone if its true.
