    Some of the lads in the woodcraft section could help you out with bendable plywood or if you know anyone that works with sheet metal and rivet /weld the book stops. It could also be made from strips of plastic that could be heated to form the curves and glue/welded for the stops. There are some nice translucent colours in available plastic sheet
    They would look cool in a kids room. Good luck.

    Have seen some of those in homebase over here. Have thought about getting them on a few occasions but have always thought better of it, not sure why.

    TradLad, what you're looking for is the Bookwork Shelf by Italian company Kartell. Irish shops you can buy the shelf through are Mobilia and Inreda - both in Dublin.
