So, you're on 3 with an unlocked non-3 handset,... that what you're saying?

so you're using an o2 PAYG sim in an unlocked 3 branded 6680? is that right?

that's unlikely to be a network problem. the only time i've seen sim card rejected is when i tried to put a 3g sim into a 2g phone.

does it just appear on the screen at random times or when you first turn the phone on?

if it appears when you turn it on, at what point does the message appear? as soon as you press power? after entering pin? after the phone tries to connect to the network?

anyway, i'd say either your phone or your sim is faulty. try getting a free replacement sim and if that doesn't work, send your phone in for repair
