Live Satellittes for Ladbrokes Killarney Fetival

    Hi Guys,

With the Ladbrokes Killarney festival main event looking so good i think its only fair that I organise satellittes to it :)

The Live satellittes will start the first friday in July and run for 12 weeks every friday and will be held in the Druid Inn in mountmellick co.laois.

The purpose of this tread is that I want to try a new structure for satellittes and your opinion on it would be useful to make it the best it can be.

The structure would be as follows:
Each week entry will be just €20 freezeout with an optional top up during the break for €10.
The top 3 each week will qualify for a grand final which will be held the weekend before the festival begins and will have either 4-5 full packages up for grabs.

    This is the interesting part!
By finishing in the top 3 you will receive chips towards your starting stack in the final. Each week there will be 75,000 chips up for grabs between the top 3: 1st:30k 2nd:25k 3rd:20k
Each week someone finishes in the top three they will increase there starting stack for the final. there will also be cash prizes for the top 10% of the field.

I would like your opinion on this guys, from what i know not much like this has been done before and i think it would run well, it'd create a good bit of rivalry in the qualifiers to get the top chips going into the final and atract people to come to all qalifiers which of course will increase the pot and the number of packages! :)

    Hi Connie,
I have been runing tournaments in laois for the last 3 years or so. Its in a town called mountmelick and the name of the venue is The Druid Inn. I recently ran an 8 week qualifier for the Paddy Power Open main event which attracted numbers of about 75-80 each week. And for a pub tournament outside of the main cities thats pretty impressive i think... :D
