    You folks seem to be tuned into this sort of thing. I'm buying an iMac and a few other bits for our non-profit. Any idea when the next updates are due?

    Someone just asked the question recently. Probably not until next year. Now is a good time to buy.

    *hijacking*

    Debating whether or not to buy a new laptop. Already have a macbook but it's on it's last legs. When I'm playing videos or anything relatively intensive it whines etc. due to lack of a graphics card.

    For this reason I'm thinking of getting a MBP, but are they worth the extra dosh? I wouldn't mind getting back into graphic design so MBP is probably best option laptop wise?

    I didn't think MacBooks could be old enough yet to be on their last legs. What have you been doing to it?

    My MacBook Pro serves me pretty well. Does a great job of running Vista as well so I can play City of Heroes on it.

    The extra screen size should help out with graphic design. I was never crazy on the 13" screens on the MacBooks.

    It's 2 years old now. I've had to replace the HD, battery won't run unless its plugged into the charger... whole heap of problems. I've just realised it'l be a while till I can afford a MB or MBP ;_;
