Switching to Smart process

    Hi folks,

    Just ordered Smart Broadband and phone package to take over from the existing Eircom service

    They said they will look after the transfer and just needed the Eircom a/c number

    A few questions:

    - Do we get a new number with Smart or do we keep our own number
    - Do you get an information pack once the line is transferred over or how do you know when the broadband is up and running ?

    They send an email and SMS message at each completed stage.

    When I switched over I had to get a new number but I believe they let you keep your old one now.
