Anyone planning to do this on Saturday night? Think I will head along myself. How much is the entry?

Not doing it this year myself but would definitely recommend it. It is a relatively fast course, is well supported by the local community and the organization is also brilliant.

What start time guys? Any race website? I see there's a bus connection.

Start time is 7.30pm. Entry is €10. Seen some details on the Meath AC website.
My first time at this event and also racing this particular distance. Supposed to be spot on though for organisation and all

Thanks Abhainn. And here's a preview of last year's race

Might have a go if there is showers/changing :)

Interesting time for a weekend race (7.30pm) but I hope to go along too, I did the Enniskillen Rotary 10k last Saturday as a warm up for Dunshaughlin which I believe is fairly flat . . . Enniskillen was pretty hilly in parts!

What an excellent event this evening. Country lanes closed to traffic, lovely local support, excellent registration & changing facilities. And afterwards sandwiches, tea, coffee and musical entertainment. Great organisation, marshalling etc. and supported wholeheartedly by the community. Highly recommended...

...apart from the cold showers

50.34 and am peaking for the Boards Race :pac:

Dammit. Was out last night thinking to myself, 'There's something I'm supposed to be doing tonight - I just can't think what it is...'

Well now I know - totally forgot!

Completly agree - this is one of the best organised races. The accurate marking of the course in km's and miles (and timekeepers at every mile) made it very easy to track your pace on the evening - this standard should be the minimum for all races to go by.

agree with all of the above. Even managed to get a spot prize as i fell over the finish line. I think it was the distraught look on my face that sealed it. good night race, well organised and nice refreshments afterwards.
