Anyone gonna take Patrik Antonius at 40/1 or SBrugby at 66/1 on Paddy Power?
    Good odds imo

to final table? sounds pretty decent all right but PPP probably know better than I do how many runners they can expect.

Not great odds to FT, likely to get plenty of runners

314 runners last year - what edge do you consider someone like PA has on the rest of the field?

Obv he has a huge edge on the vast majority of the field, what im saying is he doesnt seem to be at the races.

Saw an interview with him after the PLO rebuy ( his fav event acc to him)where he came late, spent alot and was one of the first out.

Was more interested in talking bout his 1 year old kid, tennis and golf then actually bout the tourny. :pac:

Dont get me wrong, hes a sick plry but i wouldnt put money on him this year:p:p

I'd rather pay myself in and double up first hand than stake PA in for 100% of his winnings. And I don't think I have a massive edge.

SBrugby at 66/1 Good odds imo

Good odds on him to actually play in the event perhaps. He's passing on Vegas this summer it seems.

I would go for someone in the 100/1 area. Steve Sung is playing pretty well and has had a good few deep runs also Richard Ashby both seem to be able to hold here own in the 200/400 games on FTP. 66/1 on Durrrr would be better than Townsend even if he does play.

Gus Hansen is a god bet in this event at 66/1
and or Mike Matusow at amazing value of 150/1 with stan james
    (paying 6 places at 1/6th)

Nice spot worth a little deposit with them again now!

OP might be interested to see they also have SB at the same price if he is going to back him in case he turns up.

Someone should mail SB the price maybe he'll back himself and play. It would pay better than actually winning the event if similar numbers turn up.

I imagie there will be more runner this year,
and in general, the standard is higher in lower fields.

if I had to guess, i'd say PA is 2-3 times as likely as the average entrant, maybe less

Look BCB, obviously the varience in poker betting is huge (for the bookie). I doubt you can hedge many of the bets off on exchanges. so instead you operate a huge overround on the book. So, If somebody says these are poor odds, don't take it personal. But don't suggest that these are as "fair" as other markets.

I had a look there are you have 118 people listed as the average prices is almost 100/1
So going with 300+ entrants, thats poor. Its 112% book for those players alone.
Care to give a price on the field??

Patrik has an edge, fair enough. so is shorter.

    Joe Beevers 200 - 1
    Pull the other one.
