    The text with the picture is quite interesting as well:
    Der Michelin Reifentestwagen - für einen LKW-Reifen (in der Mitte des Wagens), mit zwei V8-Motoren im Heck. Ein Motor trieb die Hinterachsen an, der andere den Testreifen. Das Fahrzeug ist komplett hydraulisch gefedert - pro Achse mit 6 Federkugeln! Das 8 Tonnen-Auto wurde auf dem Michelin-Testgelände in Clermont-Ferrant, der ehemaligen Rennstrecke, eingesetzt.

    The vehicle was a test bed for truck tires which were mounted in the middle of the vehicle. One of the two V8's powered the truck tyre, the other the rear axles of the vehicle. The vehicle has hydropneumatic suspension on all axles (with six spheres per axle) and weighed eight tonnes !

    It was used at the Michelin test facility in Clairmont Ferrand, an ex racing circuit
