I'm going too!! It's my first Graspop and first festival
Got this e-mail this morning. You guys probably got it as well but i'll stick it up just incase.
Just a few practivcal tips!
BOOZEBAGS & FESTIVAL TICKETS NEED TO BE EXCHANGED AT MAIN ENTRANCE OF THE FESTIVAL / CAMPSITEIf you wish to enter the festival arena or the camp site, you need to exchange first your festival ticket at the exchange office at the main entrance of the festival/campsite. You can collect your boozebag when you go to pick up your wristband. All in a single trip, does it get any more practical?

NO TICKET YET?
Don't worry. You will be able to buy your festival ticket at the main entrance of the festival / campsite, while stocks last of course!

VIP UPGRADES
Festival fans with a VIP upgrade, can exchange their upgrade together with their festival ticket at the VIP UPGRADES office at the main entrance of the festival / campsite.

CAMPSITE
The campsite will be open as from Thursday 24/06 16h till 12 noon on Monday 30 June, at which time all campers must vacate the premises.
On Thursday, the campsite is ONLY available for festival fans with a COMBI ticket.
DAY ticket holders can also spend the night at the campsite. However, a day ticket does NOT grant free access to the campsite! Day ticket holders need to buy a one-day camping ticket first. A one-day camping ticket costs 15 euro. The one-day camping tickets will not be available in presale and will only be sold at the box office of the campsite itself! This ticket is valid on the same day as your day ticket, from 8 am till noon the following day.
24H ZONE OPEN AROUND THE CLOCK (OR JUSTABOUT)
The 24h zone is the area wedged in between the campsite and the festival arena and it’s open around the clock (or justabout anyway). The 24h zone is closed between 5 and 7 am to get things ready for the rest of the festival day. In this zone you will find token stands, beer tents, food stalls, a restaurant, the Jupiler Saloon, etc.
1 GMM TOKEN FOR BOTH FOOD AND BOOZE
The GMM token pays for soft drinks, cold beers, French fries, pizza, pasta... in short, everything that qualifies as food and drink. One Graspop token will cost 2.25 euros in the festival arena. Graspop tokens are also available in presale. You can buy the so-called boozebags.
Fans who have already bought a boozebag will also receive 24 Graspop tokens that can be used at any food and drink stand.
POLICE POST AND FIRST AID
Theft, material damage, loss of property … report it to the police post at the 24h-zone.
The first aid station situated on the festival site is only available during festival activities!The second first-aid station is located in the 24h-zone and will be manned around the clock!The first-aid stations can be recognised by the large Red Cross flag.
GRASPOP BOOKLET
A Graspop booklet will be available again this year with the full festival line-up and lots of additional info on the festival and the campsite, signing sessions, bands, …. The booklet costs 1 euro or ½ Graspop token and can be obtained at the Graspop Info Stand or at the official merchandise stand.
SHUTTLE SERVICE BETWEEN MOL STATION AND THE FESTIVAL
In collaboration with De Lijn, Graspop will be organising a free shuttle busservice from Mol train station to the festival/camp site. This service will be available from Thursday up to and including Monday. The traject will take about 20 minutes. The bus stop is located at the main entrance of the festival / campsite.

Monday: 05h55 - 14h20 !! Busstop at the 400m of the main entrance!!
NO ADDITIONAL NIGHT TRAINSThere are no night trains. You can always check the exact time table at www.b-rail.be/nat/E (enter MOL as railway station).
DRINKABLE WATER
The water from the wash basins is drinkable!
METAL MARKET & FESTIVAL FAIR
Ever since 1996, Orange Artist Promotion has organised its Metal Market on the festival grounds. The Metal Market is more than a simple trade fair for every type of audio and video recording, merchandise, etc. for every genre and subgenre of heavy music, it has also developed into a hotspot where record labels and bands meet up and hatch plans for future metal collaboration. The admission fee is Graspop token for the weekend.
Yet another Orange Artist Promotion initiative is the festival fair. This is a non-food market with an extremely varied product rage: a broad selection of clothing articles, jewellery. Several stalls sell shoes and there’s even a stall where leather jackets, trousers, etc. can be custom-made!
Of course there are also the traditional stands selling t-shirts and related merchandise, but even if you’re looking for a pair of sunglasses, an all-weather jacket or a disposable camera, you will probably find what you’re looking for. If you’re thinking of having yourself embellished, there’s an approved and professional piercing studio on the site. The admission is free!
