    Just wondering, i have been working with a company for 6 months and have just signed my permanent contract however i have been accepted a place for a masters which i have wanted to do for two years the masters starts the last week in september i am handing my notice in the start of august thus giving 6 weeks notice. I have two weeks holidays in that time am i entitled to my holidays or will i have to take it with no pay. i have only taken 2 days in the 6 months????

    Yes you are entitled to your holidays, as you have worked there 6 months that will cover 2 weeks holidays.

    Yes you are entitled to your holidays, as you have worked there 6 months that will cover 2 weeks holidays.

    You are not entitled to any two weeks off you want, it is up to the company. As far as I know, they would be well within their rights to make you work out the entire notice period, and just pay you for the accumulated annual leave.
