easiest thing to do is switch off your sky box (from the mains)

remove the viewing card and switch it on again. (without the viewing card in the slot).

this will show you what channels you will get.

    (should have said this first!:o)

i added ch4 recently and when i turned the box back on, bbc1 had gone from channel 101, i added it to other channels but would rather have it on the main menu, any ideas?

If you go to 501 enter the interactive service then take your card out and put back in up side down you should get English epg when you come out of interactive.

Sorry guys if this has been asked before. I have a spare Sky box and I would like to use it upstairs in my bedroom. I also have Chorus cable and it runs into the main Television point and is the wired to my bedroom. Is it possible to get these channels mentioned above by just plugging the spare sky box in my room?

you will need a cable run from the dish directly to the room upstairs or alternatively downstairs to where the chorus cable originates from and looped through. You would then need a magic eye to be able to change the channels from upstairs
