    Hi all,

I'm posting this on behalf of my Uncle. He's not very internet savvy (although I'm getting a laptop for him so he can start to use the web), so I'm just looking for some information on his behalf.

He used to do a lot of clay pigeon shooting years ago and was a member of a gun club at the time (in Longford).

Anyhow - he's wheelchair bound now and he was thinking of getting back into shooting, and was thinking pistol shooting might be an option for him.

He's living near Maynooth now, so would anybody have any suggestions as to how he should approach getting back into this, or if there is some local club or dealer that could give him some advice ?

What do y'all think - would pistol shooting be the best option for him (He's expressed an interest in it, so that good I suppose :) )?

    Thanks in advance.

    Pistol's one option:

Benchrest rifle might be another - I've seen at least one well-known shooter up north shoot benchrest because he simply can't shoot prone anymore thanks to back problems.
