Peter Lik Exhibition in Dublin?

Was out for dinner with a couple of friends and I was telling them about my interest in photography etc. One of them said in passing that a mate of theirs is big into photography as well and he was organising an exhibition of Peter Lik photographs in Dublin this summer.

Anyone heard anything about this?
I've told my mate to email his mate in the morning to try and find out more. I'll report back as soon as I get more info.

That would be great. Loved his work when I was in Oz. Most of the postcards I sent home from the East coast were his photos.

Got confirmation!!

There is an exhibition in July. Didn't get much info but its some sort of invitation thing don't know if its open to the public. (Think they are keeping it hush hush until the press are notified) But if there is demand they would consider having a short public exhibition.

I'm starting the campaign here!

I was talking to the guy who is organising this and got all the info. I promised not to reveal where the photographs are being shown until he gives the ok. Think there is something about sponsorship.
But on the bright side he will do a public exhibition if there are enough interested parties. I have his permission to give his email address to boards.ie members to contact him directly. Is it ok to publish his email on this page or will it flood his inbox with spam?

+1 also. Love his work. We were in Oz for a year 3 years back. I've been trying to buy an original piece since we got back but impossible without being in one of the galleries. We're back again late next year on honeymoon so I'll be bringing the coppers jar
