Creative Zen Copying from 1 folder to another

I have alot of music copied over to my zen, under artists would have the artist in one folder but below that there might be the artist featuring someone else, so in effect there are 2 folders for this artist.

I want to copy the songs over from one to the other so that I can delete a few folders but the paste option does not work. Anyone know how to do this?

I have tried using Creative Organizer and Windows Explorer but in both the paste does not work.

In windows explorer, you should be able to drag and drop. For some reason cut and paste doestnt work when you have the creative software installed.
I had a similar problem where my music copied to the wrong folder and the abovce technique worked. Hope this helps

in windows explorer if you go into the storage sectin of the zen you can copy and paste but then these changes do not transfer over to the zen itself........I am lost as to the different storage configurations on this thing!!

This has to do with the transfet protocol used by the Zen (which is mtp) and the metadata tags of your files, you wil have to change the tags so that the artists are identical otherwise you will have multiple entries.
