Buying out contract with 3

    Hey,

    Has anyone here ever bought out the remainder of their contract with 3? If so what is the procedure?

    I don't have any complaints about the level or service. I've been a happy customer of theirs for more than 2 1/2 years. The customer service could be less script-driven but that's about it.

    Don't know the specifics with 3, but most networks will charge you the line rental x the number of months left in the contract.

    So, say pay 35 euro line rental per month and have three months rental left, then you'd pay 115 euro.

    I take it you are moving your number to O2, all you have to do is bring your last 3 bill and photo id to the O2 store they'll move the number over and 3 cancels the number as part of the porting process.

    Grand, thanks for the info. Will 3 issue a final bill once the number has been ported? I understand I will have to pay the remainder of the contract (I switched to the lowest price plan today).
