I'd be grateful for any help on the following: my sonyericsson K610iM powers down immediately after I finish every call, even when fully charged, it then restarts as though it's being switched on (searching for network), also there's a white message icon (not the usual yellow) which I can't remove, has anyone else had this problem, is it time for a new phone? I checked with my network provider and they say it's okay, still waiting for a reply from sonyericcson, thanks.

Might be a glitch in the firmware. Or a conflict between two third party apps on phone. Can really be anything.

Do you have receipt? Was it bought within the last 2 years? Bring it to O2 to get swapped out (see their SOS T&C) or send to www.mprc.ie.

They'll sort you out if it's a manufacturing fault.

Thanks for the replies, yes I have the receipt, the phone is fourteen months old, when I checked with O2 regarding the problem the nice lady was under the impression the warranty was only for twelve months but I'll check the terms and conditions.

O2 cover Sony Ericssons for 2 years. Pop into a shop :)
