The vga port that connects to the monitor of the monitor appears to be faulty. No monitor will work with it, how easy/hard is it to fix this or get a new one put in if this is the problem?
What else could it be, the monitor was going on and off for a while before it finally stopped working. The monitor itself is fine.

Is it the vga port on the computer that you think is not working? If so you could get a new graphics card cheap enough. I'd check the vga and power cable first.

Yeah it's the vga port on the computer that I think is broken, no quick soldering job? :-d
