Feel free to move this if there a more appropriate section for it.

Does anyone know does Dylan Moran gig anywhere in the republic?
He has 2 dates lined up for Belfast in October and im hoping he will do a gig a bit closer to home. Though a friend of mine said he doesn't gig in Ireland, only the North and the UK.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I too would be interested in knowing such a thing.

He's done vicar st. before. In fact i think monster was filmed in there so i doubt what your friend said is true.

Fingers crossed on a dublin date. The guy makes me cry happy tears

I have seen him twice in Dublin so he does gig here, don't know when the next one is though

His tour dates look pretty well packed in there.

And my guess is, if he does belfast, he would do Dublin soon before or after... according to the schedule above, only the 27th and 28th are available around the belfast dates.... and it looks a pretty busy tour!

I don't think he'll play around the Belfast dates since it seems to be an entirely UK tour. Ireland would be totally seperate so sometime after the London gigs I imagine. He might do a couple here closer to xmas.

Of course he plays in Dublin, I've seen him twice here and was at the gig that became the Monster DVD.

I'd say the theory about it being a UK tour might be right though.

Is there any word of Moran playing Irish/dublin gigs at all ?

Black Books makes me smile even now, after watching every one inside out.

I might travel to Belfast for Dylan if its the only Irish stop on the tour. Our best comedian by a country mile.
