i user the high5 ones......get them from the clubshop, don't think there much of a bargain from gettin them outside Ireland (with the cost of delivery).

Regarding the caffeinated ones, I dont really notice the difference, but anyway i dont really get to much into wat flavour I use

or you can make it yourself loads of recipes online. Honey and brown rice syrup and a pinch of salt are what I use. you can add coffee or other things for flavouring if you want

Ken... if you make them yourself, how do you carry them around with you?
You guys better be careful with all these sugary stuff .. bad for you teeth, espacially the drinks: constantly sipping on them for a few hours on and off is the worst thing you can do to your teeth.
I tried the caffeinated powerbar bars the other day ... I am sure they work fine, but they're not very nice.

I am so bored today ...

I just take a few dried dates with me. You can buy a kilo of them in health food stores for about €4
They give you a fantastic boost when you're knackered.

Only take 5 or 6 though...

I always struggled to digest these in race situations.

I tried one of the caffeinated gels a few weeks ago and after a few minutes felt quite peculiar: dizzy and nauseaous. And me a coffee addict. I'm sure only a minority of people would have a reaction like that, but what I learnt was that it's best to try anything like that out in a training situation first, rather than using something new for the first time in an important event or an emergency situation.
