Bedroom only...a few years ago. Recently went to dig out my decks and couldn't find mixer power supply:mad:. When I get them operational again, I may try for club gigs, if I feel/get good enough.

a bedroom DJ and a part-time one at that! I don't get enough time to practice so I know I'll never make it to the club scene but I'm happy out just mixing at home.

Just had my 10th anniversary having started out 'properly' in MUI Maynooth in May '98, but before then I was a bedroom DJ since '95. Since then, I have played regular gigs in Diva at The Red Cow, The Viper Room, Rapture, The Foundry, and Buck Mulligans, amongst other places, with my current residencies in The Core in Tullamore and Le Louvre in Mullingar. The whole decade I have also done weddings and birthdays etc. Currently also produce and present "Strictly Retro" 3 nights a week on Midlands 103. I've covered all musical genres during my career.

    Seanie.

There should be another option, the 'other people's houses' dj for those of us who are married and accordingly can't be bedroom djs, haven't done it in clubs either, but will take over once they see any equipment in someone else's house, usually at a party!

Started djing at home aged about 11, started a radio station aged 15, broadcasting about 20 mile radius!! got into the a bigger radio station in dunlaoghaire (D.L.R) THEN RENAMED Hits 106 fm, from there onto parties 21st etc, now running a dj company with 12 djs on board , mostly weddings now , i was never in to clubs but did a stint in the purty kitchen for about 6 months , giging 4 days a week now weddings this time of year,
