Main UK channels dodgy on NTL digital

    Anyone having trouble with BBC/ITV/C4? Blank screen is what I'm mainly getting. Its hit and miss.

    Totally flakey on mine recently, very hit and miss on what is tuned in or not.

    Got to the point now where I have it on audto all of the time...

    My NTL analog service is out (more or less) since last night. The picture appears for a split second every second or so, but otherwise it's just snow. I'm in Dublin 4.

    BBC1 and 2 are all ok here in waterford. must be your STB. unplug it and leave it for a while. lots of changes latly to try and stop "The BOX"

    Hmm. I've rebooted a few times. If it persists I give them a call.

    Now thats a depressing thought.

    yes mine bad in waterford on saturday,i kept on rebooting it to try and sort it out,seems to be better now ,it was the worse i seen it for a while channels dissapearing and coming back then dissapearing again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Hmm, mines better as regards the channels but is freezing on switch-on.

    The frequency changed for channel 4 recently. They are obviously trying to knock out illegal decoderss by changing keys and frequency settings, but in the mean time they are screwing up loads of paying customers services too, and don't give a damn, they call it "maintenance in the area" if you ring them.

    I don't think UTV changed though, so it could be something else they are messing with. But my small pace box was knocked out a lot recently since I turn it off when out so it was not autoupdating.
