It would be great to see them win Ulster. I think that most people will be cheering for them in the final. Another Divison 3 side doing well, let's hope that it continues tomorrow in Croke Park ;)

I thought it was a good game of football, one of the better matches in the championship thus far despite the conditions and Fermanagh did deserve to win it with the spirit they showed but you got to think that they would not have won if there wasn't a strong breeze where many of Derrys frees were skewed in the second half.Gotta love Barry Owens coming back from heart surgery to clinch the game for Fermanagh.

Derry didn't take full advantage of the wind in the first half and this also cost them while Fermanagh came back into it with some lovely taken points and some frees.I hope they go on to beat Armagh (shades of 2004 and revenge for 1982) or Down and take their first ever Ulster Title.Fermanaghs style of football is more open and free flowing and Derrys blanket defense didn't work at all and Paddy Bradley was again relied on too much today. After what Fermanagh did to Monaghan and their previous league outings, this wasn't a shock at all.

Yeah only lost one game all season, and that was after extra time.

I watched this and thought it was a good game apart from the ref being a bit pedantic. (Sorry Blackbelt :p)

Delighted to see Fermanagh win and I really hope they win Ulster now.

Also, Barry Owens sure knows how to make a comeback. :D

And to add to that, the only team that has beaten them so far this year was a team that had got knocked out by Fermanagh in two very recent championships.

Haha,I actually agree with you Smashey. That penalty decision did leave me scratching my head in amazement. It was clearly shoulder to shoulder.Martin Carney hit the nail on the head when he said justice was done when the goalkeeper saved the penalty.

True, I guess we are learning from our previous mistakes ;)

I wonder what the odds were on a Fermanagh v Down final in the Ulster championship? A lot of early season favourites could play each other in the qualifiers, Monaghan, Derry, Tyrone, Meath. Dublin might even join them next week :pac:

Well done Fermanagh. That yellow card must have been nearly worn out, it came out so often. A lot of them were undeserved. The qualifiers are getting very interesting. when you consider some of the teams that are there.
