    Is this course any good?

I'm into accounting and economics, would this suit me?

    Many 9 o' clocks?

I've heard there are not many hours in first year - is that a good sign or a bad sign?

My bf is just after finishing second year and he loves the course. He didnt have many hours at all, in fact in 2nd year he had 2 days i think it was with no lectures whatsoever which was handy because then he could work and stuff

just finished the course this year. Waiting for my results now which are out on Thursday.

I would highly recommend this course if your into economics and accounting, or even if your not. The hours are very reasonable, we had about 12-15 each week. I remember in semester 1 first year we had 1 9o'clock start and that was on a Friday. Attendance used to be minimal due to the class parties on Thursday nights and every other night for that matter.

But I seriously would recommend the course. If you've any other questions, feel free to ask

I just wondering about this course because compared to BESS and COMMERCE, there not that much publicity.

Which would be better, this or the business and management course in DIT?
I'm way out on the south side and its hardly worth my while travelling across town for something like 2 hours a day!:(

Trouble with filling out your cao is that you havent the slightest clue what these courses entail - I like accounting and economics, what more can I say.

I wouldn't really be able to compare it courses in other universities but it is definitely a very well recognised degree in terms of jobs oppourtunities both at home and abroad.

Even tough it might only be 2 - 3 hours on some days, it doesn't mean for example that you'll be in at 10 and finished by 12, you could be in at 10 till 11 and then your next lecture could be at 1 or 2. Sometimes the best time to work on assignments and stuff is at this time between lectures.

Cartman- There isn't tons of accounting, I think I had one in module in both semester one and another in semester 2 in first year and then maybe another module in semester 2 second year. I wouldn't let this put you off doing the course.

    Hey Cartman,

some classes will be split up depending on optional modules etc but in first year the majority of your lectures will involve being with your whole class. There are plenty of lecture halls that can accomodate the whole class.

Anyway, I guarantee you after the first 2 weeks, the lecture halls will never be full
