Camera repair in London

    Hi, I know it's a bit of a long shot on an Irish board, but I'm trying to find somewhere in London that does reliable camera assessment and repairs. If anyone has experience of anywhere, or could recommend somewhere I'd love to know. I've been trying to research it here but have heard some horror stories about overcharging/greater damage caused, etc.

    I'm reluctant to leave my camera in to a place I'm not sure of and at this stage it is just a matter of picking a name at random from the phone-book.

    Any advice appreciated!

    I had a sigma lens repaired by Fixation (http://www.fixationuk.com) and found them excellent to deal with. Did a rush weekend job on it too since I was only going to be around for a few days.

    Looking at their site they seem to do repairs on just about everything.

    It would help to know the make of the camera. Most of the big manufacturers have service centres in/around London.
