    Hi All I am going to Bulgaria (Sunny Beach) next Friday 27th for two weeks, I believe that there are some good locations for photography, has anybody been to Sunny Beach or close by. and where would you recommend for some good snaps!!!

    also would you recommend me bringing my laptop

    2 weeks? Unless you've about 50 gigs of memory cards, I'd be bringing your lappy. You'll never know how many you'll take per day, and tbh its not worth missing something because you've got full cards on X day. :)

    I'm also going on Friday for two weeks (LC holiday)

    If I'm changing currency over there will I be okay?

    I was told by a friend that was there last year that they have no problem excepting the €, but i still wanted to get some Lev just in case but found it very hard to get, I even tried Central Bank Dublin and all the local banks and my local Credit Union to no avail but I was able to get it in Ballyduff Credit union no problem
    And to answer Challengemaster I will be bringing my Laptop after a lot of thought !!!!
    Voltwad are you staying in Victoria Palace ???

    PS sorry for the late reply, Trying to get the house painted before I go

    Sun City, about 20 mins outside the resort centre there.

    It's probably a bit late to be posting this, but Nessebar is a stones-throw from Sunny Beach... it has a lot of old dwellings and narrow cobble-stone roads, so there's plenty of shadows to play with and interesting features.
    Do a google image search on Nessebar to get a general idea of the place.
    I'd reccommend the boat journey back and forth to the place, it's good fun and provides yet more photographic opportunities along the way.
    It's still a pretty tourist-ey place though... crowds, trinket-shops and the like.

    And for anyone else heading over, there's a wealth of discussion/information about Bulgarian resorts here... I was glued to it before I went over.
