All 125 transactions done in the last month. All for very small items.

Three feedback reviews for items sold by him on these GAR DA auctions all with only 1 feedback left each (for the item).

Looks well dodge to me anyway, I wouldnt.

The bit that says they only give you information on garda sales, not the actual product.

This guy has done this before in another guise.

The phrase "Gar Da" is a trick to avoid being removed from the site (as selling police equipment and memorabilia is not permitted on ebay, except in certain circumstances) .

He's conned a lot of gullible folks, and if anyones interested, there is a report this item link on the bottom of each of his listings - He is clearly breaching rules by listing an informational handbook in the laptop category (similalry the same information is listed in the Xbox console, PSP, Mobile phone, computing and various other categories. )

This scammer and his kind are ruining ebay and should be stopped.

    The procedure is :

1: Report this item (Produces a series of drop down windows)
2: Listing policy breaches & improper keywords
    3: Compilation & informational media
4 : Inappropriately listed informational items.
5: click on the "Email us" button

This is text does not make any sense at all. Firstly, who are "We". If it is the company selling the product, then why does the it then refer to "committing purchase"? A company selling product don't purchase it. If the "we" is supposed to be the buyer, the there must be an acceptable "accept" button or tick to show understanidng of the transactions. Secondly, who is "this company"? There is no indication as to which party is being refereed to. Lastly, what rights are protected under international law!???

This is a joke and, legally, as far as I can see, this guy is not protecting him self with this rubbish piece of text. Mind you, it is very difficult to to ascertain exactly what it is you are purchasing here.

Chancers are not known for their attention to strict legal detail.

Reporting him is the only way to ensure that those gullible enough to have purchased from him have some sort of escape route when he's busted.

Reported item but my God e-Bay needs to make it much easier to do and much more visible. The procedure is a shambles.

Oh dear...He also appears to be guilty of shilling to give himself some selling feedback....

3 selling feedback left by "buyers" within 10 minutes of each other, and within minutes of the end of the transactions....

This one of those things were you buy what you think is a TV but instead receive a flyer or email about a Garda/police auction ?

Like that Judge Judy case where the people thought they had bought a TV but all they got was a picture of a TV - though in fairness, the sellers in that case did clearly state that was what you would get. I suppose when people think there's a bargain to be had they go a bit blind.

Yup. See the small print as detailed in post #2 of this thread.

Well , in fairness to this scammer, he too does tell people that all they are getting is police auction info, although he doesn't say it very openly.

His mistake was posting his listing in the incorrect categories (i.e. an informational pamphlet telling you how to buy a mobile phone is NOT a mobile phone, ergo listing it in ebays mobile phone category is against ebay rules.)

Now if the supremely useless ebay would get up off their holes and do something about it, we'd be grand.
