I have a Inspiron 1000 which has a knackered AC adapter. I am running it off another adapter from another laptop but have to give it back. Dont think the adapter will have to be exactly the same as the one I am using at the moment reads like this

    Input: 100-240v~,50-60Hz 1.7A
    Output:19v---3.42A

where as the original Dell one was

    Input: 100-240v~,50-60Hz 1.5A
    Output: 19v---3.16A

I presume its the 19v's output that is important?. Anyways if anyone has a spare/old adapter in the Dublin area that would like to sell/give away/trade give me a shout. IF not if anyone has had to buy one recently an can recommend a cheap Bricks&motor or an ebay seller that would be great

    Thanks
