    Wonder what the story is there with him being 12th man today. Even the commentators are baffled as to how he's there.

    England have a tradition of not having an official 12th man in tests in England. Instead they use young players from the counties where the match is taking place. Eoin Morgan has fielded for them when at Lord's, as did Ed Joyce before he qualified for England.

    They clarified the ruling about 5 minutes after the post. I was wondering what he was doing there considering he has 2 Twenty20 matches for Ireland tomorrow vs Lashings XI.
