sheer magic.he didnt do as many of his hits as i would have liked but just to stand there 20 feet away as he played layla was amazing and his solos on the bluesier stuff was incredible:cool:

An excellent concert, wouldn't have missed it for anything. He was smoking on the guitar, amazing solos. Clapton and god - it's not a coincidence that they never appear in the same place at once. I was disappointed that there wasn't one cream song played though, l thought the encore might be but it wasn't to be. *sobs* I wore my wheels of fire shirt specially.

It was my first Clapton gig so want sure what to expect, was hoping for more of the hits, but he's such a genius on the guitar I could have stood and listened to anything.

Was only 10 feet away, I thought the fade out of Layla and explosion into Cocaine was outstanding.

    Brilliant gig.
