Dexter and Deb are bumping uglies off-screen!

Ewwwwwww... it's wrong.. sick and wrong!

Michael C. Hall plays the nicest crime-solving serial killer you ever met on the hit show Dexter, while Jennifer Carpenter costars as his detective sister with a Daddy complex. But the on-set siblings share an even closer bond when the cameras are off: The pair are dating, sources tell PEOPLE.

"I don't see what the big deal is," says a source close to the couple. "They play brother and sister on the show, but they are actors, after all."

Hall and Carpenter were spotted dining at the Sunset Tower Hotel last week following the news that Dexter had nabbed a prestigious Peabody award. "It was romantic," says an observer of their back-of-the-restaurant dinner. "They were drinking champagne and there was the clinking of glasses. They were clearly celebrating."

Hardly confirmation from a US tabloid with nothing but than "sources" but still quite funny if it ws indeed true.

I hope they don't try out role play as a way to spice up their relationship. Could get a little awkward. :pac:

Seems wrong - but not as wrong as with "Nip/Tuck" stars Joely Richardson and John Hensley who played mother and son but dated off screen. Then again that's probably entirely appropriate for that deviant show

better watch whom I clink my pint glass with in future, looks like it's an obvious sign I must be bumping uglies with them :rolleyes:

I can see why this would be weird for us, as we know them as brother and sister. But I see nothing wrong with 2 actors dating in real life regardless of what their on screen relationship is.
