Killarney to Dublin via N72/N73/N8

    Hi

    Just wondering what the N72/N73 is like. Driving conditions etc.

    Roughly how long to get from Killarney to Mitchelstown / N8?

    I want to take in Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel on my way to Dublin from Killarney, so need to figure how early I should get up!

    The N72 is quite bad in various places, as I imagine is the N73. Once you are on the N8 it is generally good except for the few towns that haven't been bypassed yet.

    Killarney to Mitchelstown would be about 1hr 15mins to 1hr 30mins. The N72 and N73 aren't great especially the N73 between Mallow and Mitchelstown.
