    First showing up in Dublin at Electric Shock under a cloak of mystery was the Chicago underground legend, Traxx. "the best DJ I've ever seen" so said Legowelt to us before he came over and his set that night backed up the claim. Whether it's evil Chicago jak sounds, new wave gems and italo edits, Traxx mixes it up with no respite. Constantly in the mix, working the decks like a demon, the chance to witness Traxx's skills up close in Wax is one not to miss.

    Traxx is part of the Dirty Criminals (Gigolo) and has released on Relief, Creme and Steve Poindexter's Muqique records and has remixed Hell and Legowelt. A true underground Chicago star, Traxx has recently been putting out dynamite releases on his of Nation of Jak label - the most recent an essential 12" by Beta Evers. Inspired by the sounds of Adonis, Steve Poindexter, Robert Armani and others, Traxx's DJ sets absolutely destroy the floor and with reports of fascist speeches layered over double-copies of roughneck DanceMania traxxxx get ready to jack to the sound of the real underground.
