Correcting overbite

    Hi,
I've been looking into getting braces to straighten my teeth but on visiting the ortho found out that I've an overbite that would need surgery to correct. I've been referred to a surgeon who has confirmed this. I've another consult to go to yet to find out more about the surgery but am just wondering if anyone here has gone through this procedure and can tell me how they found it? Any feedback would be much appreciated.
