Transmission rates for STIs

Does anyone have information on the transmission rates of the more common STIs? It's not that I'm worried that I might have picked something up, but it occured to me that there's a fairly huge gap in my knowledge about this subject.

Browsing wikipedia, I saw that the male to female transmission rate for HIV is .1%, which I found surprisingly low. On the other hand, I found out that the transmission rate of chlamidia is about 35%, which was a bit shocking. It occured to me that in all the health education I've had, this fairly vital information has been left out.

the problem with any of this information that you are going to collect is that due to its nature its going to be very difficult to get accurate data.
