I an amateur violinist that will play for free.

I am actually looking for a band to play music, just for fun. My preferred genres are celtic/irish folk music, some classical, new age and symphonic rock but naturally I am open to any kind of genre which sounds good with violin and other instruments.

    Acoustic instruments highly preferred.

    Thanks to everyone.

    Bump.

    Edited:

I just want to remind everyone that (unfortunately) I am only AMATEUR, so not professional.

I am willing to play for fun just because I still need a lot of practice until I consider getting paid for playing.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Have you got anything recorded that I could listen to?

    Hello

How are you getting on with your violin - are you all practised.
We would like a violin to play something soft/classical at our civil ceremony and then maybe for about an hour afterwards during tea/coffee.
It would be about 2 hours in total. The location is Dublin City Centre.
I am not sure if you would be confident enough?
None of us are experts in classical music, so if you hit a dud note occasionally it would go un noticed so long as the overall sound was good.
If you are in any way interested, please let me know and we can have a chat about a price and maybe you can play something for us.

    THANK YOU
