Yep moved from one island to another one recently (connected by a land bridge to the mainland though but that counts right ?)

Don't ask me why, but whenever I hear "island life" the first thing that springs to mind is "the ants are back, Ted."

Would many of those islanders have broadband or would they be stuck on dial-up?

Well it might not be worth an ISP's time and money to set up a DSL exchange but I'd say they get cable and satellite broadband.

Are there any Islanders on boards i wonder? besides from Ireland!

Isn't mental to think that there's still almost *3,000 people living in their own patch of land away from Ireland.
Myself & a few mates were out on one of Corks biggest last weekend for a camping trip and i must say that it was throughly enjoyable chatting/getting pissed with locals and getting a spin home later in a trailer.

Its funny to think also that on that list there are apparently 5 Islands off the coast that have only 1 inhabitant. Must be great craic. :pac:

Really? Five islands with only one inhabitant.......I'd go mad, absolutely frothing at the mouth mad...:(

The more people I meet, the more I like dogs...

Really now?! hmm... does this mean youre not telling the whole truth and nothing BUT the truth in the signature?

    So help you god.

I'm pretty sure there was some scheme to give them all broadband or at least the idea of broadband.
