Laptop not charging

    Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone can advise me of what to do or what can be done for my poor little laptop.

Well... it's just getting back on it's feet since Vista decided to wipe EVERYTHING off it a couple of months ago, yes all documents, pics, music etc and all windows...and any other program installed. Finally got that sorted

Was heading out of the house last night with laptop in bag, charger still plugged into it. The strap on my bag broke and it hit the floor... went to use laptop today and it's not charging. Had a look in at where you plug it in and it seems like the little pin that fits into the space in the charger (the only way i can describe it to make sense is.. putting the penis into the vagina!) seems to have shifted place.

So does anyone know if this is easy to fix or what can be done? I'm not sure it it's loose or just bent out of shape

You could try to bend it back at the risk of breaking it.

If it is damaged like you say it can be stupidly expensive to repair, as the charger part is connected to the motherboard. And it snot a single part that can be replaced.

No Operating System just up and decides its going to that. You must have some idea how that happened.

Well the PIN is hopefully just bent out of shape. You can try fixing it back into place carefully with needle nose pliers.

But for the love of sin, take better care of your machine: dont pack it with wires still attached to it for one.
