Hi all .Just wondering about the best way to drink guinness from the fridge .Should it be chilled for a few hours ,days or weeks lol ! I think if its left in the fridge too long it gets a slightly bitter taste .Any opinions ?

Chilled for a few hours seems to work best and takes away the gassy, foamy artificial taste; most draught cans benefit from a decent chilling.

It depends on which product you're talking about and how you like it. Draught cans are supposed to be well chilled -- I think Diageo recommend three hours. Plain Guinness is better not chilled at all, IMO. Foreign Extra and Special Export will stand up to chilling and still taste of something, but are still good, though different, at room or cellar temperature.

I like a pint bottle form the shelf or given a few minutes to warm up slightly
