Hi, Got a letter from UPC a few days ago saying they were carrying out an upgrade of the network in the area after which digital tv, broadband and phone services would be available.

Just wondering, anyone else who received this letter, roughly how long it took before these services were available?

    Thanks.....

You will know you been upgrade when you have to retune your TV. Moyglare Hall shouldn't been too hard for them to upgrade being a total underground system.

I'd kill for the broadband..Can't think too much about that at the moment though; I'm too busy playing a really fun game with NTL. How it works is I book an installation of the DVR box and then take a day off work to wait. Then the NTL guy doesn't show up and I roll around laughing at the hilarity of it all. I then book again and the process repeats over and over. In between rounds I make more progress on my noose.

Yes got this letter in the Dublin 13 area a few months back. Work is now complete and we're now fully upgraded apparently. Analogue has never been worse, but I do get weekly letters trying to get me to upgrade to broadband.

Patrick did you ring for a service call? When they switched you over to the new network its possible the connection was damaged or some other small issue.
