Things that make you want to cry in work

:mad:I'm currently sitting at my desk with a fire alarm unit being tested behind me for the past half hour. Cue constant beeping, alarms etc and some cowboy giving me the whole "Be dun in twuu minits, bud!"

What pins your buzz down and rapes it in work? Is there a colleague who sends you ridiculous amounts of cheesey chain mail? A smelly fcuker who doesn't know how the shower works?

*Twiddles thumbs and waits for second-rate use of "Yore Ma"

Ocasionally the men in my job will get just too much for me to deal with and in the past I have wanted to cry but I wouldn't give them the satisfaction
They are all right most of the time though in fact I would say we get on well the rest of the time

The chain smokers. who dont realise or care about the stench off them who also happily smoke under the office window where does the smoke go? A bucket of water is the only cure i fear.

Just to clear up, I wasn't using 'cry' literally there...I wouldn't say that's the effect a fire alarm would have on me!

    It would on me
God I do have some awful hangovers and if that happened I would run home crying

1.The guy beside me has a little cough...didnt notice it before...now its ALL i can hear grrrr!

2.The guy beside me takes an hour to fax 4 reports and classes himself as "really busy" if anyone asks.

3.The guy beside me shows up on time for work for the first time in a month and is delighted with himself. He'll leave early though cos he's been so busy all day with his 4 faxes and feels he deserves an early pint cos its "been a long day"!

4.Guy beside me glances at my emails im writing as he walks by. Am tempted to write "I HATE THE GUY BESIDE ME" in size 48 font so he cant miss it the next time he looks.

*I actually do like the guy beside me..outside of work

I'd say it'd be pretty aggravating being a fire alarm repair guy and getting snide looks all day from tossers sitting at their desk

When I worked in Intel...pretty much everything...nowadays I just spend my time laughing at people who work there.

The cnut of a QC who has been in the job 6 months and thinks he knows better than 4 people with a combined total of 50 years experience.

Also the smelly guy who thinks I won't be able to hear what he's saying unless he's within kissing range and doesn't take the hint when I'm backing off frantically. (Technically makes me gag, not cry.)

    Someone else put it correctly:

    Boss: Do A !

Me: But if we do A, B will occur.

Boss: I don't care, do it anyway.

    Later:

Boss: OH MY GOD B HAS HAPPENED!

    Me: Holy jesus.

"Do you mind if I use your phone/computer etc for just one minute?"

"Do you mind if I just ask you something really quickly?"

"Do you mind if I just keep annoying you with stupid requests?"

"Oh my god you must be thinking, like, (insert her name here) is so annoying!"

Me: "Ha ha...no, not at all!" (I hate her and hope she's the victim of drink driving over the weekend...)

Emails like this that come in from office in yokohama, first thing in the morning:

The CMS was working fine this morning till this morning, the emails not working (unable to send out emails) and when they logon to the CMS, it showed time out and unable to access to the systems. However, according to Gu, around 5pm they are able to send out emails but not the CMS.

    Ahhhh,.. what?

Thanks Sheron. Who would joke about drink driving?? That's serious business.

    "You're a disgrace."

I know, I should really be doing this sort of thing myself instead of leaving it up to others. I guess I'm just lazy...
