If you want a club on a par with Lusk go to Portmarnock Judo or Coolmine, but Portmarnock will be easier to get to for you. Its a superb club and one I'd highly recommend.

If you want a lot of instructional judo, little ground work and randori go to the Daigo Kan (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly). For individual instruction I couldn't recommend this one more. Its two more senior instructors (John Douglas & Tommy O'Hara) have over 80yrs Judo instructing behind them.

howaya conor. this is ronan. we ain;t seen ya in a long time!

i was there last saturday at portmarnock but only as a spectator.
a great days judo. some great scraps and very well organised.
i am a complete novice at judo and would have been crushed like a flea had i been out on the mats with any of those competing.

Portmarnock looked lke a very tasty outfit. 3 teams competing and all looked top class to me .

i might try portmarnock as it ain't too far. anyone know what nights they train?
coolmine is handy as for me as well. again anyone know what nights they train.

    thanks all for the replys.

Hope you're keeping well man. I was out on the Tuesday before the competition, but that was the first time in a few months due to college.

Hey Gary, that's me. I don't think Coolmine is doing Saturdays classes anymore, at least not over the summer. Not 100% on that.
