Theres a club in Raheny that does Ryoi Shinto Ryu. They are under James (Jim) Shortt. He has quite a colourful background and makes some fairly wild claims, so he might be worth Checking out before you go. They are not weapons based martial arts though, mostly traditional Ju Jutsu, with a bodyguard/ personal security bent, largely due to the instructors lifestyle. Dont know if Richard Tighe has kept this end of things up or not, but when I trained with them it was mostly that. You might be looking for Katori Shinto Ryu, but the nearest club to you is London. Ryoishin (a regular poster here) trains in a similar style in Lucan. He might be able to sort you out.

There are a couple of styles referred to as Shinto ryu.

There is a modern Shinto ryu that uses a kobutan. But otherwise its self defence. The other ryu you wont get here in Ireland. Ryoi Shinto Ryu as Hammerheadgym referrs to is as he says it is. Shortt is having a seminar in Japan apparently!

But if your after fedual Japanese weapons go with Genbukan or Bujinkan (Boojers :D).

Alright Dave how are things, I have nt trained in Lucan for awhile for various reasons and injuries. But there would be a decent amount of weapons but you d have to do the yawara stuff aswell.

OP ive pics on my bebo of some sword and spear stuff if you want to see them.
