my guitar progress

    Right its been a year. I can play these songs;

    'plug in baby' by muse
    'Freedom' by Rgtm
    (most of:D) 'a million miles away' by rory gallagher
    'Love train' by wolfmoter
    'joker and the thief' by wolfmother
    'All I got' by newton faulkner

    These are some of the hardest songs i can play. How would you rate this progress?:o

    I'd say you 're doing great. :) It all depends on what you are trying to achieve, e.g. join a band, playing at home for fun, learn theory ect. At some time in the future if you want to progress further, you might consider taking lessons and learning some basic theory.

    Everyone progresses at their own rate. There's no time scale for reaching a certain standard. Guitarists who have spent their whole lives playing have said they still have a lot to learn. It's all about enjoying it and having fun.
