Id be interested in hearing from any boardsies that work in this field or know anything about it., i hold a degree in physics and a h.dip in software design and development. I know a little bit about the markets, well the oil scene at the mo and a little bit about the sub-prime stuff!, thats about it really! dont know anything about hedge funds all the rest of that stuff etc
What does a quantitative analyst exactly do?
What level maths would ya need to be at? differential, integration etc?
is there good job satisfaction, do people get a good kick out of predicting the markets?
is it easy to get to grips with it?

Any info would be great, cheers
